"Being a skeptical person by nature, I was reluctant to try Ethos FR after being approached by the rep. Had he not given me a sample to try I would have blown him off. It would have been a big mistake in doing so. I drive a 1993 Chevy dually with a 6.5 turbo diesel. "I own a 2002 BMW F650GS (single cylinder, fuel-injected 650 cc) motorcycle. I purchased it new; it now has about 18,000 miles on it. I regularly put Chevron premium in it. Before I began using Ethos I averaged about 60 mpg (yes, nothing to complain about). About a year or year and a half ago I began using Ethos in the crankcase and in every tank of gas. Immediately the mileage improved and I now average about 68 mpg! On a recent tank I got 72 mpg—188.3 miles on 2.6 gallons. Unlike a car, I can see the gas when it's full and I'm able to fill it to the exact same level every time; therefore the mileage is very accurate. On the last tank of gas I forgot to add the Ethos. "We run a 2003 Freightliner with a 500 HP Detroit Diesel 60 series engine. The engine has over 400,000 miles on it and it has had an emissions problem that we have spent over 20k on at the dealer trying to fix. This problem cost us a violation summons in California because it was over 40% on the opacity test. When the technician from Jo-n-Bo Construction company, the distributor for the Ethos product in East TN, tested the engine it measured 46.5% opacity. After treating the engine and the fuel supply, at their cost, with Ethos FR and traveling 751 miles of standard driving on I 40 with a heavy load from West Knoxville to Memphis, TN and back with a medium load to Kingston, TN another opacity test was performed. The results were startling. The emission opacity reading dropped to 18.2% for an over 58% reduction. We bought a gallon right on the spot, enough to treat over 1200 gallons of fuel and we will keep testing both the emissions and the oil to see the more long term effects. Right now we are legal in California and that is a great relief."

"My 1995 Subaru Legacy has been used as a business car for the last three years. It has been driven daily in all driving conditions. Mileage is now up to 229,000 and the engine has been showing signs of weakness, i.e., significant valve knocking noise, trouble climbing hills without major downshifting (down to second gear in a 4-speed automatic), etc. Miles per tank yield never would exceed 260 (a ten gallon tank), and I would always have to fill up before then or I would be walking to the gas station.
Enter Ethos application - I put 4 oz. into the crancase with a synthetic oil change (Mobil 1 10W/30) and added 1 0z. to the next gas fill up. Upon the usual 260 mile range, I filled up and calculated a 27.1 mpg. Not impressive, and within driving condition variables, although my prior mpg calculations were typically in the 24-26 mpg range, so it was encouraging to break into the 27's. The big difference occured on the 3rd fillup with the ethos - I was doing my usual driving and noticed the fuel guage on "E" - it was then to my astonishment that I noticed the odometer reading 292 miles (I always reset it upon filling up)! I had never gotten that kind of range out of a tank of gas. The engine runs noticeably quieter - the valve noise is now minimal, and more importantly, the power has returned to the motor. There are less transmission shifts on steep hills, and the car cruises at highway speeds with ease, whereas the engine would strain at speeds over 70mph before the Ethos treatment. I was thinking of junking the car before the Ethos treatment, but now I think I can get another 100,000 miles out of her as long as I keep using EthosFR! I realize that this is not a scientific study or analysis, but my experience shows that Ethos FR's friction reduction and cleansing abilities really do work to increase my mileage and performance."
